Jet-Lube MP-50 1 Pint Molybdenum Disulfide Moly Paste Lubricant

Jet-Lube MP-50 is a molybdenum disulfide (moly) paste lubricant manufactured by Whitmore Manufacturing LLC (Rockwall, TX), supplied here new in a 1-pint (473 mL) steel can with Product No. 28003, date of manufacture 13 March 2025. MP-50 is formulated with finely milled MoS₂ particles suspended in a grease carrier, delivering an extremely low coefficient of friction on metal-to-metal contact surfaces across a wide service temperature range of -300°F (-185°C) to 750°F (400°C), making it serviceable in cryogenic, high-temperature, and vacuum environments where conventional lubricants fail. The paste is designed for assembly and break-in lubrication of threaded fasteners, splines, keyways, press-fit components, slideways, and anti-seize applications in oil field, petrochemical, heavy equipment, and general industrial service, preventing galling, seizing, and fretting corrosion on steel, stainless, and alloy surfaces. As a dry-film-forming paste, MP-50 remains in place under extreme pressure and does not wash off with water, providing protection during startup and intermittent operation where oil-film lubrication is insufficient.
