The Kennametal KSEMP5800FDS56B1M is a new KSEM Plus B1 interchangeable indexable pilot drill head with a 58.00 mm (Ø58.00) maximum drill diameter and FDS56 head connection interface, as engraved directly on the body and confirmed by the Kennametal label (part number 5116125, made in Germany). The KSEM Plus system combines high-speed drilling, high feed rates, and precise hole quality in a single platform; the B1 head designation indicates this is the primary cutting head configuration that accepts KSEM Plus indexable inserts for both the central and peripheral cutting zones. The head body features through-coolant ports visible in the photos, dual guide pad seats for precision bore guidance, and the FDS56 bayonet-style quick-change connection for mounting onto compatible KSEM Plus drill bodies. Included accessories visible in the kit photos are a Kennametal DPA13T5D50 shim pack for guiding pads, anti-seize lubricant, a T15 Torx wrench (170.355), a T20 Torx wrench (170.356), and a SW2.0 hex wrench (170.346), along with a KSEM Plus features & benefits reference sheet.
