The Kennametal KTFST16000HPLM is a new KenTIP FS indexable carbide drill tip insert for use with the KenTIP FS modular drill system, designed for high-precision, high-performance drilling in a wide range of materials. The MPN decodes as follows: KTFS = KenTIP FS insert series; T = standard tip geometry; 16000 = 16.000 mm drilling diameter (0.6299 in); HPL = high-precision, through-coolant geometry optimized for general-purpose and steel machining; M = metric; the grade KCMS15 is a PVD-coated submicron carbide grade engineered for steel and stainless steel drilling, offering excellent wear resistance and toughness at moderate-to-high cutting speeds.
