This is a new Kennametal KenTIP indexable drill body, part number KTIP0591R5SCF075, internal catalog reference 117001906NGL7, made in Germany. The KenTIP system uses a self-centering, replaceable carbide tip (sold separately) that seats into a precision-ground steel body via Kennametal's bayonet-style locking mechanism, delivering consistent hole location accuracy without regrinding. This body is sized for a 0.591 in (15.01 mm) cutting diameter, 5×D depth-of-cut ratio, with a straight cylindrical shank in SCF (straight shank with coolant-through flange) configuration and a 0.75 in (19.05 mm) shank diameter; internal coolant-through channels are machined into the body for high-pressure coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone. The drill body accepts KenTIP insert tips in the Ø 0.5906–0.6298 in diameter range (as confirmed on the body label in the photos), making it compatible with the full range of KenTIP-TS insert tips for that diameter band.
