This is a new Kennametal MVSN433 right-hand external turning toolholder designed to accept VNMG (35° diamond, negative rake) inserts via a top-clamp (screw-on) clamping system, visible in the photos. The designation decodes as: M = top clamp style, V = VNMG insert shape (35° diamond), S = 0° clearance (negative rake), N = tolerance class, 4 = 1/2 in (approximately 25 mm) shank height, 3 = 3/4 in shank width, 3 = 6 in overall length. The black oxide finish on the steel shank body provides corrosion resistance, and the precision-ground insert pocket ensures repeatability at tool changes.
