Keo 30250 is a 1/4 in diameter, 118° point angle, high-speed steel (HSS) right-hand (RH) spotting drill, sold as a box of 12 new pieces. Spotting drills are short, rigid tools designed to produce an accurate starting divot for subsequent twist drills, preventing walk and improving hole-location accuracy on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The black oxide finish visible on the flutes reduces friction and provides light corrosion resistance; the bright-polished shank (also 1/4 in, straight round) seats securely in standard 1/4 in collets, drill chucks, or ER collet systems. Keo Cutters, a recognized U.S. brand, manufactures these to ISO 9002 quality standards, and the 118° included angle matches the standard twist drill point geometry, making this spotting drill particularly effective for pre-spotting before standard 118° jobber drills in steel, cast iron, and aluminum applications.
