The Keo Cutters 63040 is a new #304 Woodruff keyseat cutter manufactured from high-speed steel (HSS) with a shank-type, right-hand cut, straight-tooth configuration — all confirmed from the label text "#304 Woodruff KSC Shank HSS RH STR." Per the ANSI B94.19 standard, the Woodruff #304 designation decodes to a cutter width of 4/32 in (1/8 in) and a cutter diameter of 3/8 in, with a 10-tooth configuration visible in the photos. The shank-type body features a reduced-diameter neck between the cutter head and the cylindrical shank, allowing the tool to reach into blind slots; the straight (non-staggered) teeth are suited for milling Woodruff keyseats in shafts on manual or CNC milling machines.
