This is a new KEO Cutters 09440 (catalog no. 950-000-828, also stamped JK36623) high-speed steel slitting and slotting saw measuring 6 in. diameter × 1/8 in. width × 1 in. arbor hole with 48 straight teeth and a concave-ground body, USA manufactured. The tool is finish-coated with titanium nitride (TiN), which increases surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life compared to uncoated HSS in steels, aluminum, and non-ferrous alloys. The 1 in. arbor bore features a Woodruff keyway (visible in photos) for positive drive on standard slitting-saw arbors. With 48 teeth and a 1/8 in. kerf, this cutter is suited for slotting, parting, and narrow groove work on milling machines where a fine, accurate slot width is required. Concave side-relief on the body reduces side friction and chip packing during deep slotting operations.
