The Knipex 00 20 06 US1 is a new 3-piece Cobra High-Tech Water Pump Pliers set containing the 87 01 180 (7-1/4 in / 180 mm), 87 01 250 (10 in / 250 mm), and 87 01 300 (12 in / 300 mm) individually packaged in a free reusable plastic tray. Each Cobra plier features push-button adjustment directly on the workpiece — one press and it stays set — with a self-locking mechanism that prevents slipping under load. The gripping jaws are induction-hardened for extended service life and are capable of gripping round, square, hex, and flat workpieces; jaw capacities range from 1-5/8 in (42 mm) on the 180 to 2-3/4 in (70 mm) on the 300. Pliers are manufactured in Germany from special tool steel with a phosphated (black matte) finish on the jaws and heads, and fitted with non-slip red plastic-coated handles. Typical applications include plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, and maintenance work requiring secure grip on fittings, nuts, and pipe across a wide size range.
