The Kyocera SGS 32670 is a new, solid carbide V-Carb 5-flute square-end end mill in 1.000" cutting diameter, designed for high-efficiency milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened materials. The tool features an AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating—clearly labeled "ALTIN" on the box label—which provides excellent hardness and oxidation resistance at elevated cutting temperatures, enabling higher speeds and feeds versus uncoated or TiN-coated counterparts. Per SGS V-Carb series specifications, this tool has a 1" shank diameter, 1-1/2" length of cut, and 4" overall length (confirmed from box label: "1x1x1-1/2x4"), with the variable-helix flute geometry of the V-Carb series engineered to suppress chatter and harmonics during aggressive slotting and peripheral milling operations. Made in the USA and manufactured to SGS (Kyocera) precision-ground tolerances, this end mill is compatible with standard 1" straight-shank toolholders including ER collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, and shrink-fit holders.
