This is a new L&I (Latrobe & Ivison, Winooski VT) MM533 11 straight-flute chucking reamer in 11.50mm diameter, manufactured in the USA and labeled with distributor part number 128-4528. Constructed from high-speed steel (HSS), this reamer is designed for machine use in a drill press, lathe, or machining center chuck to finish-ream pre-drilled holes to a precise 11.50mm diameter with tight tolerances. Straight flutes are suited for through-holes and materials that produce short chips, such as cast iron and brass, while the bright (uncoated) HSS construction allows for resharpening.
