The Lenox 30882VB2 Vari-Bit VB2 is a new HSS step drill bit covering 9 hole sizes from 1/2" to 1" (12.7mm–25.4mm) in 1/16" increments: 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16", and 1". The bit features a dual-flute spiral design with a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance and reduced friction, and Lenox claims 2x longer life and 50% faster starts versus its prior VB1–VB8 generation when tested in 1/16" 1008 steel. The 3/8" two-flat power-drive shank prevents slipping in standard 3/8" drill chucks and is compatible with most corded and cordless drills. Each step is laser-etched with its diameter for fast identification during use. Made in the USA with global materials.
