The LMT Onsrud 68-213 is a new, US-made polycrystalline diamond (PCD) composite router bit featuring a serrated (SERF) cutting edge geometry designed specifically for routing carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), fiberglass, Kevlar, and other abrasive composite laminates. The tool carries a 1/4 in (6.35 mm) cutting diameter with a 3/4 in length of cut, a 1/4 in straight shank, and a 3 in overall length in a 2-flute, right-hand cut configuration — all confirmed directly from the package label (68-213, 1/4–3/4×1/4×3, 2FL) and the secondary label (1/4×1/4×3/4" SERF PCD Composite Router). The serrated PCD cutting edges fracture composite fibers cleanly without delamination or fraying, delivering dramatically longer tool life compared to carbide in abrasive non-metallic materials; PCD is the hardest commercially available cutting material and is the industry standard for high-volume composite routing in aerospace and industrial panel fabrication. This bit is compatible with standard CNC router spindles and manual routers accepting 1/4 in collets, and the black-oxide-finished carbide body provides corrosion resistance during storage and handling.
