Loctite LB 8014 (Part No. 1169241) is a new, metal-free, food-grade anti-seize lubricant manufactured by Henkel, NSF-registered under Category H1 (Registration #128450), confirming suitability for incidental food contact applications in food processing and beverage plants. The formulation combines white lubricating solids and extreme pressure (EP) agents suspended in an aluminum-gelled white oil — containing no elemental metals — and protects threaded joints and metal-to-metal surfaces against seizing, galling, corrosion, and friction at temperatures up to 750°F (398°C). Active ingredients listed on the label are calcium dihydroxide (CAS 1305-62-0) and talc (CAS 14807-96-6). Effective on stainless steel, it is suited for threaded connections, press fits, shafts, machine parts, and other metal assemblies in food plants, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial environments where metal-bearing compounds are prohibited.
