Loctite 495 (P/N 135467, Henkel case P/N 49550) is a general-purpose, low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate (CA) instant adhesive that cures rapidly upon contact with surface moisture to form a rigid, clear bond. With a viscosity of approximately 5–15 cP, it wets tightly fitting surfaces quickly and delivers a fixture time on steel of roughly 5–20 seconds, making it suited for bonding rubber, metal, and plastic substrates in high-throughput assembly and repair operations. The cured adhesive is clear, has a tensile strength on steel of approximately 3,500 psi (24 MPa), and resists temperatures from -65°F to +180°F (-54°C to +82°C).
