Lyndex 3J 1-3/8 in Round Collet Lathe Workholding

This is a new Lyndex 3J-style round collet with a 1-3/8 in (1.375 in) bore, as stamped directly on the collet face and confirmed on the MSC packing label (MSC item 79788360). The 3J collet system is a large-capacity, threaded-nose collet design commonly used on manual and CNC lathes including Hardinge, LeBlond, and compatible machines; the threaded rear end engages a drawbar while the tapered nose seats into the spindle nose to provide concentric clamping. Lyndex collets are manufactured from hardened alloy steel with a black oxide finish on the body and precision-ground bore, delivering TIR performance suitable for production turning, bar-feeding, and secondary operations on round stock up to 1-3/8 in diameter. The three-slot design allows the collet segments to flex uniformly for even gripping force across the full bore contact zone.
