This Lyndex E20-196 is a size 5 ER-style spring collet, with the 5 marked on the nose face and on the Lyndex Corp item label; the E20 item prefix indicates the ER20 series. The collet is a slotted, tapered steel design with alternating front and rear slots and the standard ER eccentric groove for the nut. It grips round tool shanks in ER20 collet chucks and holders on milling machines, CNC machining centers, and lathes. A 5 mm ER20 collet normally clamps shank diameters from 4 mm up to 5 mm. The collet is new and supplied with its original Lyndex Corp sleeve label.
