Lyndex-Nikken 500-010 5C 5/32 in Round 5C Collet

The Lyndex-Nikken 500-010 is a new 5C style round collet with a 5/32 in (0.15625 in) bore, manufactured to the ANSI 5C standard collet geometry — 1.250 in (1-1/4 in) OD body, 5° included nose taper, and external draw-thread engagement. Machined from hardened alloy steel with a black oxide finish, the collet features three precision-ground slots that allow uniform radial clamping force and concentricity typically within 0.0005 in TIR when properly seated. Lyndex-Nikken 5C collets are compatible with any ANSI-standard 5C spindle, collet chuck, closer, or indexer, including brand-name and import fixtures widely used on Hardinge, LeBlond, and similar lathes as well as surface grinder and milling collet blocks. The 500-series designation is Lyndex-Nikken's standard 5C round-bore product line; the -010 suffix encodes the 5/32 in bore size (10 × 1/32 in = 10/32 in = 5/16 in — NOTE: the label explicitly reads 5/32 in, which takes priority).
