The Lyndex-Nikken 500-014 is a new 5C round collet with a 7/32" (0.21875") bore, designed for use in 5C-compatible collet chucks, collet closers, rotary tables, collet blocks, and indexing fixtures found on lathes, screw machines, and milling setups. The collet body features the standard 5C external taper and threaded nose geometry, with a through-hole bore sized to grip round stock or round-shank tooling at exactly 7/32". Lyndex-Nikken manufactures this collet to ANSI/ASME standards for 5C tooling, with a hardened alloy steel body and a dark oxide/blackened finish visible in the photos for corrosion resistance. The three-slot configuration provides uniform radial clamping force around the workpiece for concentric, repeatable grip. This collet is suited for production turning, bar-feed work, secondary operations, and inspection fixturing where precise, repeatable 5C workholding of 7/32" round stock is required.
