Lyndex-Nikken 530-008 5C 1/8 in Hex Collet

This is a new Lyndex-Nikken 530-008 5C hex collet designed to hold 1/8 in (0.125 in) across-flats hexagonal stock in any 5C-compatible spindle, indexer, collet chuck, or fixture. The 5C collet system features a 5° included-angle nose taper and external threading at the rear for engagement with a 5C drawbar or closing cap, visible clearly in the images. The body is hardened steel with a black oxide finish on the threaded and slotted sections, and the nose face is ground to the standard 5C geometry ensuring accurate, repeatable seating. Three radial slots extend from the nose to allow the collet to close uniformly on hex stock, preventing rotation and providing positive location for secondary operations such as milling flats, drilling cross-holes, or screw-machine work. Compatible with all standard 5C spindles, 5C collet chucks, 5C indexing fixtures, and 5C collet closers from any manufacturer.
