This M.A. Ford tapered end mill, tool number 198 00375 0004, has a 0.1250 in (1/8 in) end diameter and a 3 degree taper per side, with a 0.375 in (3/8 in) shank. The cutter has a helical multi-flute design with a dark finish that appears to be a PVD coating, and a straight cylindrical shank for use in collet or end mill holders. The 3 degree per side taper is used for machining tapered walls, draft angles and mold or die cavities. The tool is sold new, in its original clear plastic tube marked with the tool number.
