This listing is for a pack of three new M.A. Ford Twister® XD 5X Regular Drills, part number 2XDSR0781A (EDP 22276), in 5/64 in (0.0781 in / ~1.984 mm) diameter with the company's proprietary ALtima® coating. The Twister XD 5X series features a solid carbide construction engineered for 5× diameter drilling without peck cycles, utilizing M.A. Ford's parabolic flute geometry to evacuate chips efficiently at depth and reduce thrust forces compared to standard jobber-length drills. The ALtima® coating is M.A. Ford's AlTiN-based PVD finish, providing elevated heat resistance and lubricity for dry or near-dry machining of steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The straight round shank is compatible with standard drill chucks and collet systems; the regular (jobber) length body suits conventional machining centers, CNC drills, and bench-drill presses. All three drills are new, unused, and housed in individual clear plastic cases as photographed.
