The M.A. Ford EDP 32180 (catalog #30202502) is a new Twister® GP General Purpose Circuit Board Drill in #72 wire gauge diameter (0.0250 in), with a 0.320 in flute length, 1-1/2 in overall length, and a 1/8 in straight shank, as decoded directly from the label designation "#72x.320x1-1/2x1/8Sh." Manufactured in the USA from submicron-grain solid carbide, the Twister GP series features M.A. Ford's proprietary geometry optimized for drilling FR-4, FR-5, CEM-1, CEM-3, and multilayer PCB materials with minimal fiber fraying, burring, and hole-wall damage. The 1/8 in shank is compatible with standard PCB drilling machine collets and CNC routing spindles. This drill is sold new in its original M.A. Ford plastic vial packaging, dated 04/25.
