This matched pair of magnetic chuck transfer parallels measures 4 in x 2 in x 1 in and is constructed from hardened steel with a precision-ground serrated (ribbed) top and bottom face, a surface pattern that allows magnetic flux to pass through the workpiece contact areas while the alternating raised ridges provide positive workpiece location and prevent lateral slippage on a magnetic chuck. Each block features two through-ground circular pole areas on each end face, visible in the photos, which are the magnetically active zones that bond to the chuck surface and transfer holding force directly to the workpiece above. The serrated profile — fine parallel grooves running the length of the block — increases effective grip on irregularly surfaced or thin workpieces that would otherwise not seat flat on a standard chuck face. New condition; sold as a matched pair for balanced workpiece support in surface grinding, EDM sinker setups, and other magnetic chuck operations requiring workpiece elevation or edge access.
