The Mahr 4309090 is a new, German-made Model 801p dual-column indicator stand (Meßständer) designed to accept dial indicators and comparators with either 4 mm or 8 mm stem/shank diameters (Schaft-DRM 4 u. 8mm as labeled on the box). The stand features two parallel hardened steel columns, a articulating indicator clamp at the top with a fine-adjust knurled screw, and a secondary locking collar on the lower section allowing precise vertical positioning of the gauge head. The dovetail-style indicator holder accepts Mahr MarTest and similarly shanked comparator probes, and the twin-post design provides rigidity and resistance to rotation during setup on surface plates or machine tables. Made in Germany by Mahr GmbH, a manufacturer with ISO-traceable metrology standards; this unit ships new in original Mahr factory packaging with part number 4309090 and barcode confirmed on box label.
