The Maska EX3-1/2 is a new Quick Detachable (QD) taper-lock bushing in the EX series with a 3-1/2 inch (3.500 in) bore, manufactured by Maska (a Rexnord brand) and confirmed by the box label and face stamping visible in the photos. The EX series is a large-frame QD bushing designed for high-torque power transmission applications; the split-flange, self-locking taper design allows the bushing to be mounted or removed without disturbing adjacent equipment. This bushing ships complete with mounting hardware as shown: three black-oxide hex-head cap screws with split lock washers and one setscrew for the keyway, plus a full-length square key for the 3-1/2 in bore. Compatible with any EX-series sheave, sprocket, coupling half, or other QD-bored component designed to accept the EX bushing hub; the large cylindrical OD and wide flange visible in the photos are characteristic of the EX frame, which accommodates higher shaft loads than the smaller SH, SK, SF, or SD series bushings.
