The Maudlin MSC4-FK is a new, 260-piece tabbed slotted shim assortment supplied in a green metal storage case with foam-lined lid for organized retention of the shim stack. Slotted (open-ended) shims with tabs allow installation and removal around shafts or bolts without full disassembly of machinery, making them standard tooling for precision alignment of motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and baseplate-mounted equipment. The assortment spans multiple thickness increments, enabling fine-resolution shimming to achieve precise parallelism and levelness in machinery alignment work. All shims are steel and finished to close thickness tolerances consistent with Maudlin's published shim stock standards.
