Maudlin SSFW321-20-50 SS321 .002in x 20in x 50ft Roll Foil Wrap

The Maudlin SSFW321-20-50 is a new roll of Type 321 stainless steel foil wrap, part number decoded as SS321 alloy, 0.002 in (2 mil) thickness, 20 in wide, and 50 ft long, wound on a cardboard core. Type 321 is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel (UNS S32100) specifically engineered to resist intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the 800–1500°F (427–816°C) sensitization range, making it the foil of choice for high-temperature jacketing, exhaust wrapping, heat shielding, and thermal insulation blanket facings in aerospace, power generation, and industrial processing. At 0.002 in thickness, the foil is highly conformable for wrapping irregular geometries such as pipes, flanges, and turbine components while maintaining the corrosion and oxidation resistance characteristic of the 321 alloy. The roll is secured with masking tape and bubble-wrapped for shipment; the foil surface is bright-annealed, providing a mirror-like, oxide-free finish suitable for direct contact with insulation materials without contamination risk.
