Mersen TR150R 150A 250V AC Class RK5 Dual-Element Time-Delay Fuse

The Mersen (Ferraz Shawmut) TR150R is a new, 150A 250V AC Class RK5 Tri-Onic dual-element time-delay current-limiting fuse with a 200,000A AC interrupting rating. The dual-element construction uses separate overload and short-circuit elements in series, providing time-delay performance that tolerates motor inrush currents and transformer magnetizing inrush while still providing fast response to sustained overloads and short circuits. The RK5 rejection feature — visible as the notched lower blade terminal — physically prevents installation in older, non-rejection-style Class H fuse holders, enforcing the use of higher-rated RK5 rejection fuse holders. Typical applications include branch circuit protection for motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, and feeder circuits operating at 250V AC or below.
