The Micro 100 BBL-110150 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning equipment. Decoding the part number: "BBL" denotes the Right Hand Bright (uncoated) Boring Bar series; "110" encodes the 1/8 in (0.110 in nominal) shank diameter; "150" encodes the 1-1/2 in overall length. The cutting tip features a 0.0480 in center-to-cutting-tip dimension, enabling machining of very small bores. Constructed from Micro 100's "Super Carbide" substrate (visible on packaging), this bar offers excellent rigidity and vibration resistance relative to its compact shank diameter.
