The Micro 100 DCM-032 is a double-end combination center drill and countersink ground from Micro 100's "Super Carbide" submicron tungsten carbide substrate, providing significantly greater hardness and wear resistance than standard high-speed steel center drills. The DCM prefix designates the Double-end Center drill series in Micro 100's catalog, while "032" encodes the pilot drill diameter of 3/32 in (0.0938 in) with a 60° included angle countersink — consistent with ANSI #3 center drill geometry. The double-ended design doubles tool life by offering two usable cutting ends before the tool is retired. Manufactured in the USA to Micro 100's Super Carbide standards, this new tool is suited for spot drilling, center hole preparation on lathes, and pilot hole marking on mills and machining centers in steel, stainless, cast iron, aluminum, and other materials where HSS tools would wear prematurely.
