The Micro 100 DMM-120-280X is a new solid carbide spotting/centering drill from Micro 100's "Super Carb" line, featuring a 120° included point angle and a 1/2 in (12.7 mm) shank diameter. The tool is finished with a black oxide / TiN-family dark PVD coating visible across the fluted body and shank, providing lubricity and oxidation resistance for dry or flood-coolant applications in steel, cast iron, stainless, and aluminum. With 2 flutes and a stub-length flute zone, the DMM-series spot drill is designed for precise hole location and chamfering prior to through-drilling, producing clean 120° seat geometry for standard drill points. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with any standard ER, Weldon, or drill-chuck toolholder accepting 1/2 in shanks.
