The Micro 100 GLR-187-2 is a solid carbide, 2-flute general-purpose end mill with a 3/16 in (0.1875 in) cutting diameter, manufactured in the USA to Micro 100's "Super Carbide Tools" standard. The tool features a reduced/necked shank configuration visible in the photos, which provides extended reach into deep cavities while maintaining rigidity, and carries a dark AlTiN-class PVD coating (evidenced by the uniform black finish across flutes and shank) that enhances hardness and heat resistance for dry or near-dry cutting. The 2-flute geometry is suited for slotting, profiling, and plunging in aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, and mild steels where chip evacuation is a priority. This is a new, unused tool shipped in Micro 100's standard orange protective tube packaging.
