The Micro 100 GR-060002 is a new single-point GR-style grooving tool bit with a solid carbide cutting tip brazed onto a steel shank body, finished with a zinc coating for corrosion resistance. The shank measures 3/4 in wide by 3/8 in tall, sized for use in standard lathe tool posts and holders that accept that shank cross-section. The GR (Grooving) tool bit style features a hook-nose profile at the cutting end — clearly visible in the photos — designed for OD grooving, parting, and face grooving operations on CNC and manual lathes. The carbide cutting edge provides hardness and wear resistance suited for grooving steel, aluminum, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. This tool ships new in its original Micro 100 poly bag with manufacturer labeling intact.
