The Micro 100 GR-072002 is a new, single-point, right-hand GR-style solid carbide grooving tool bit with a 3/4 in shank width and 3/8 in shank height, designed for OD grooving and parting operations on CNC and manual lathes. Decoding the part number: "GR" = GR grooving tool style (right-hand orientation); "07" = 7/16 in groove depth of cut; "20" = 0.020 in groove width; "02" = 0.002 in nose radius — all consistent with Micro 100's published GR series nomenclature. The tool body is steel-shanked with a brazed carbide tip, finished with a zinc coating on the shank for corrosion resistance, and the carbide cutting tip is ground to close tolerances for precision groove widths in steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials.
