Micro 100 GS-114002 3/4in x 3/8in GS Style Brazed Carbide Tool Bit

The Micro 100 GS-114002 is a new, single-point brazed carbide tool bit in GS style, featuring a 3/4 in shank width, 3/8 in shank height, and 3 in overall length, with the carbide tip brazed directly to the steel shank body. The "GS" designation corresponds to a grooving/parting style geometry, and the visible gold-toned TiN or TiAlN-type coating on the carbide tip (visible in photos) promotes heat and wear resistance during turning and grooving operations on a lathe. This tool bit is designed for use in standard square-shank lathe toolholders accepting a 3/4 in shank and is suitable for grooving, parting, and turning operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
