The Micro 100 HRM-080-63 is a new solid carbide half-round reamer with a 0.0800 in (2.032 mm) diameter and a 63° included angle, made in the USA from Micro 100's proprietary "Super Carbide" submicron grain carbide substrate. The half-round (D-shaped) cross-section geometry produces a flat on the body, providing a positive radial location in the bore while leaving clearance for chip evacuation — making this style ideal for finishing reamed holes to very close tolerances in small-diameter applications on precision CNC lathes, machining centers, and Swiss-style screw machines. The dark blue-black surface appearance visible in the photos is consistent with Micro 100's standard uncoated super carbide finish (not a PVD coating), and the tool ships in Micro 100's orange protective plastic tube. Compatible with standard 1/8 in shank toolholders or collet systems sized to match the shank diameter encoded in the part number.
