Micro 100 MEF-060-750-005K 0.060" 2-Fl nACRo Carbide Corner Radius End Mill

The Micro 100 MEF-060-750-005K is a new solid carbide corner radius end mill from the MEF (Miniature End Mill, Fine/Finishing) series, featuring a 0.060" (1.524 mm) cutting diameter, 0.090" length of cut, 2.000" overall length, and a 0.005" corner radius on a 2-flute geometry with a necked-down reduced shank design. The tool is coated with Micro 100's nACRo (nano-AlCrN/AlCrO composite) PVD coating, which provides elevated hot hardness, oxidation resistance up to ~1,100 °C, and a low coefficient of friction suited for high-speed dry or near-dry machining of hardened steels, stainless steels, titanium, and nickel-base superalloys. The 0.250" (1/4 in) cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet chucks, ER collets, and shrink-fit holders; the extended neck relief enables deep-cavity milling and reach into tight pockets without toolholder interference. With a 2-flute design optimized for chip clearance in difficult-to-machine materials and the precision corner radius to blend floor-to-wall transitions, this tool targets aerospace, medical, and die/mold applications requiring fine-feature detail at micro scales.
