The Micro 100 QSP-500-3.5 is a solid carbide quick-change shank profiling/grooving tool with a 1/2 in (0.500 in) shank diameter and a 3.5 in overall length, manufactured from Micro 100's "Super Carbide" submicron grain tungsten carbide substrate. The tool features a single-flute relieved geometry with a flat-faced cutting end, designed for internal profiling, grooving, and undercutting operations on CNC lathes equipped with Micro 100's QSP quick-change boring bar system or standard 1/2 in boring bar holders. The black surface treatment visible on the tool body is consistent with Micro 100's standard DLC/physical vapor deposition (PVD) or steam-oxide finish applied to their Super Carbide line, providing lubricity and oxidation resistance during interrupted cuts. This tool is sold new, unused, and in its original Micro 100 orange protective case.
