The Micro 100 QSR-375-2.0 is a new, solid-carbide quick-change boring bar from the QSR (Quick Shank Right-hand) series, designed for internal ID turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and manual lathes equipped with Micro 100's quick-change boring bar system. The part number encodes a 3/8 in (0.375 in) shank diameter and a 2.0 in maximum reach/overhang, with a right-hand cutting orientation; the bar accepts indexable triangular (TPG/TPGH-style) carbide inserts seated in a pocket visible in the photos, secured without a top clamp for unobstructed chip flow. Manufactured in the USA from "super carbide" (Micro 100's designation for their proprietary submicron-grain tungsten carbide substrate), the bar features a black PVD coating on the shank for wear and corrosion resistance while the insert pocket is left uncoated for precise insert seating. Compatible toolholders include Micro 100's QSH quick-change shank holders sized for 3/8 in shanks; minimum bore diameter is determined by the bar geometry and is published by Micro 100 as 0.500 in for this model.
