The Micro 100 RSCM-100-2X is a new, double-end solid carbide center drill with a 60° included angle, designed for producing accurate center holes in lathe and grinding operations where precision location of centers is critical. Manufactured in the USA from Micro 100's proprietary "Super Carbide" grade, this tool offers superior hardness and wear resistance compared to HSS equivalents, enabling use at higher speeds and in harder workpiece materials. The double-end (reversible) design doubles tool life by providing two usable cutting ends, and the black oxide-like surface finish visible on the body reduces friction and improves chip evacuation. The "RSCM" prefix designates it as a Reversible Super Carbide Mill/center drill; "100" encodes the 1/8 in (0.100 in nominal) pilot diameter; and "2X" confirms the double-end configuration. Compatible with standard drill chucks, collets, or center-drill holders on lathes, mills, and grinders.
