The Miles Lubricants FG Hydro FR 32 is a new, food-grade, fire-resistant hydraulic fluid formulated to ISO viscosity grade 32, packaged in a 5-gallon (18 kg / 36 lb) pail by Miles Lubricants LLC of Carlstadt, NJ. This fluid carries an H1 food-grade designation, meaning it is NSF H1 registered for use in food processing and beverage manufacturing environments where incidental contact with food is possible. As a fire-resistant (FR) formulation, it is based on a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) or synthetic ester base stock engineered to meet the demands of hydraulic systems operating near open flames, hot surfaces, or in environments with strict fire safety requirements. Suitable for use in hydraulic systems on food processing lines, meat packing equipment, bottling machinery, and other food and beverage plant equipment where both fire resistance and food safety compliance are mandatory. The pail features a tamper-evident MKS Plastics lid with a bung-style pour opening for controlled dispensing.
