Miles Lubricants Nimbus PG 320 (SKU 479128, MPN MSF1423005) is a new, premium-quality polyalkylene glycol (PAG)-based fully synthetic gear oil with an ISO VG 320 viscosity grade, manufactured in the USA and packaged in a 3.78 L (1 U.S. gallon) HDPE jug. Polyglycol (PG) base stocks provide inherently high viscosity index, excellent thermal stability, and a very low coefficient of friction compared to mineral oils, making this fluid well-suited for enclosed worm gear drives, helical gearboxes, and other heavily loaded industrial gear systems where energy efficiency and extended drain intervals are priorities. PG-type gear oils are not compatible with mineral-oil-based fluids, standard nitrile seals, or copper-alloy components, so system compatibility should be verified before use; equipment must be thoroughly flushed prior to conversion from mineral oil service.
