The Mitsubishi Materials CTAHR-062S is a new, right-hand straight-shank external grooving and cutoff toolholder from the Dia-Edge product line, designed to accept GBA / GTR-series grooving inserts. Decoding the part number: CT = Clamp-type toolholder for GBA grooving inserts; A = straight shank (no offset); H = right-hand cutting direction; R = right-hand orientation confirmation; 062 = 3/8 in (0.625 in) square shank; S = metric insert size designation for the GBA 32-series insert width. The holder body is precision-ground steel with a black-oxide-finished top face and a bright shank, using a top-clamp / screw-on clamping mechanism (torx screw visible in photos) to secure the single-sided grooving insert firmly against the hardened seat.
