This Mitsubishi Materials DCGT11T308-MJ insert in grade VP10RT (ANSI DCGT32.52MJ) is a 55 degree diamond, positive-rake carbide turning insert with a 7 degree clearance angle, G-class tolerance, a single-sided MJ chipbreaker and a central mounting hole. It has an 11 mm cutting edge length, a 3.97 mm thickness (T3) and a 0.8 mm nose radius, and the dark purple-bronze finish shows it is a coated grade. It is designed for finishing and light to medium turning and profiling on lathes using holders that take DC-style inserts, and the inserts are secured with a center screw. This item is new, supplied as a box of 10 inserts in the original Mitsubishi Diaedge packaging and made in Japan.
