This Mitsubishi Materials Diaedge DCMT11T302-FM insert (ANSI DCMT32.50.5FM) is a 55° diamond-shaped, positive-rake turning insert with 7° clearance, a center hole and a single-sided FM chipbreaker for finishing to light-medium turning. It is made in grade VP15TF, a PVD-coated carbide. The box label lists it for ISO P (steel) and ISO M (stainless) workpieces, with recommended speeds of 160-115 m/min (525-375 SFM) in steel and 140-80 m/min (460-260 SFM) in stainless, and feeds of 0.14-0.03 mm/rev (0.006-0.001 IPR).
