This is a new box of 10 Mitsubishi Materials DIAEDGE DCMT11T302-FM turning inserts in grade VP15TF (ANSI DCMT32.50.5FM), made in Japan. The designation decodes to a 55 degree diamond insert with a 7 degree positive clearance, M tolerance, a single-sided chipbreaker with a countersunk center hole, a 9.525 mm (3/8 in) inscribed circle, a 3.97 mm (5/32 in) thickness and a 0.2 mm nose radius. The FM chipbreaker is designed for finishing, and VP15TF is a PVD-coated carbide grade.
