Mitsubishi MSMHDD0650 MS-MHD 6.5mm 4-Flute AlTiN Carbide End Mill

The Mitsubishi Materials MSMHDD0650 is a new, solid carbide 4-flute square-end end mill from the MSTAR MS-MHD series, ground to a 6.5 mm cutting diameter with a matching 6.5 mm cylindrical shank. Produced under the Dia◇Edge brand at Mitsubishi's Indonesia facility (lot EK1753TB), the MS-MHD series features a proprietary AlTiN-based coating (AP-2 grade designation as shown on the label) that delivers high hardness and heat resistance for dry or near-dry machining of steels, stainless steels, and cast irons up to approximately 55 HRC. The four-flute geometry with a medium helix and eccentric relief provides rigidity for slotting, side milling, and contouring operations in CNC machining centers using collet chucks or end-mill holders with a 6.5 mm bore. Mitsubishi's MSTAR substrate is an ultrafine-grain cemented carbide engineered for toughness and wear resistance, extending tool life in hardened and difficult-to-machine workpiece materials.
