This Mitsubishi Materials Diaedge WSTAR Drill Miracle, part number MVE0640X02S080, is a new two-flute solid carbide twist drill with a 6.4 mm cutting diameter, a 2xD length-to-diameter ratio and an 8 mm straight shank. It is finished in the DP1020 grade with Miracle coating, which is the bronze-colored PVD layer visible on the flutes, and the shank is left bare carbide. Mitsubishi's DP1020 grade is intended for drilling steels, stainless steels and cast irons on CNC machining centers and lathes. The 8 mm straight shank suits standard collet and shrink-fit holders. The drill was manufactured in Indonesia.
