The Mitsubishi Materials SNMG120408-SA (SNMG432SA) UE6110 is a new, indexable carbide turning insert in the square (80° corner angle) SNMG geometry — 12.70 mm (1/2 in) inscribed circle, 4.76 mm thick, 0.8 mm nose radius — with a 0° clearance angle, M-tolerance class, and double-sided (negative rake) design with a central hole for clamping. Grade UE6110 is a CVD multi-layer TiCN/Al₂O₃ coated cemented carbide from Mitsubishi's DIAEDGE line, engineered primarily for steel (P) turning with coverage extending to M, K, N, S, and H workpiece materials as indicated on the package label. The SA chipbreaker geometry is designed for semi-finishing to light roughing applications, targeting cutting speeds of 210–355 m/min (690–1165 SFM) and feeds of 0.14–0.40 mm/rev (0.006–0.016 IPR) in steel, as printed directly on the package. These inserts seat in standard SNMG-compatible toolholders (e.g., MSKNR/L, PSKNR/L style) and are manufactured in Japan.
